Walking and climbing

Walking in Asturias – especially in the surroundings of the Picos de Europa mountains – offers so many possibilities thanks to the rich diversity of landscapes and countryside waiting to be discovered, from the lofty summits of the Picos to the leafy river valleys of the Sella.

The great quantity of available routes makes this activity adaptable for every category of participant. Short routes of 1 to 2 hours are possible, but the majority take 4 to 5 hours, allowing for stops to eat and to enjoy the scenery.

Our qualified guides ensure that the route chosen is suitable for everyone in the group and they will explain, along the way, the natural, cultural and historical curiosities of the area.

Our guides are available for a fee of €90 per half day, or €150 per full day.

• A small rucksack.
• Pullover or sweatshirt.
• Plastic mac/cagoule.
• A change of clothing.
• Camera.
• Suitable footwear (this is the most important item)
